The Huron County Economic Development is reaching out to those who lost their job at Hyndman Transport. The company closed their doors after their U-S parent company, Celadon Group Incorporated, filed for bankruptcy.
400 employees in Ontario were affected, 30 were working out of the Wroxeter location. Director of Economic Development Cody Joudry says their role is to help those affect get in touch with local employers looking to hire people.
Joudry says news of the closure caught everyone by surprise.
He says there will be those who will want to seek work immediately while others will take time over the holidays to collect themselves before going on their job hunt.
