A 54-year-old London man is facing charges following a Perth County OPP afternoon RIDE program.
At 1:30 p.m. on December 29th, a motor vehicle approached the RIDE program at a high rate of speed and failed to slow down on Perth Road 180 in the hamlet of Cromarty.
The officer had to take evasive action to prevent being struck. With the assistance of members of the Huron County OPP, the vehicle was located and stopped.
Eric Sery was arrested and charged with Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and Stunt driving by driving too close to a pedestrian
The accused is scheduled to appear in Stratford court on January 20th.
