Hospitals in Bruce, Huron, and Grey Counties are getting provincial funding.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson announced recently that over $3 Million will be going to nine hospitals.
In a statement, Thompson says these investments are vital to ensuring local hospitals will be able to make upgrades and improvements to their facilities.
South Huron’s hospital is receiving over 800 thousand dollars while Clinton is getting over 300 thousand, and Seaforth is getting over 900 thousand.
Thompson says this is part of the government’s investment of $175 million this year to support hospitals across Ontario.
Hospitals receiving the funding include:
South Bruce Grey Health Centre Kincardine Site – $300,726 (subject to change as per hospital corporation needs)
Walkerton site – $241,389 (subject to change as per hospital corporation needs)
