A 21-year-old won’t be driving for a while following an arrest in late December near Brucefield. Officers noticed a pickup truck traveling northbound on London Road in an erratic manner, so the driver was pulled over.
Police noted that the driver had consumed some alcohol and open containers were also found, so they conducted a roadside test. The man was arrested and two breath tests proved that the man was over the legal limit.
Further investigation revealed the driver was a suspended driver, the vehicle had no insurance and the driver was using unauthorized license plates.
The man from Central Huron is facing a slew of charges included impaired driving, and has lost his vehicle and received a 90-day license suspension.
