The Lucan Minor Hockey Peewee Rep Team are continuing their fundraising efforts in support of mental health advocacy groups.
On February 9th at the rink, a Celebrity Coach Skills Clinic will be taken place to raise money for SickNotWeak and Team Parent Jana Bayer Smith says there will be some great coaches out there.
It runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Lucan.
The idea came from Jory Elliott, the University of Waterloo Women’s Hockey goalie coach. Bayer Smith he heard the story of the Lucan team and wanted to keep the ball rolling so they brainstormed this idea.
It’s $20 to register with proceeds going to SickNotWeak and the Tanner Steffler Foundation.
