One person is dead following a snowmobile collision on Monday.
First responders were called just before 9 PM to an Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail between Krauter Line and Henfryn Line southeast of Ethel.
Investigators say the snowmobilers were traveling together when the lead driver attempted to cross over a drainage ditch, but the location was misjudged and the driver entered a steep ditch.
It was at this point that the rear driver followed the other driver into the ditch and a collision ensued.
The rear driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and later released.
Sadly the lead driver was pronounced deceased, they have been identified as 14 year old Taylor Long from Huron East.
