A movie scene will be filmed in Bayfield next month.
The film is an action/adventure drama, which Bayfield Ward councilor for the Municipality of Bluewater Bill Whetstone says will likely be shown at the world-famous Toronto Independent Film Festival.
Whetstone said he has no clue if there’s any big stars participating as the people he’s talked to haven’t mentioned anything, while admitting he hasn’t really asked.
Nevertheless, there’s tons of benefits to this.
He asks motorists and spectators be respectful to the process during the filming, and it’s Whestones understanding the production company, High Park 20/20-1 Productions Inc, gets shootings are disruptive to businesses and they work to minimize the impact they cause.
That being said, from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. from March 9th to the 12th, Main St N from The Square to Charles St will be closed, Catherine St from Chiniquy St to Victoria Place on the 11th and 12th will be shut down, and finally Long Hill Road from Jowett Lane to the Pier will be closed off on the 13th.
