Back in Toronto is where Ontario MPP’s are as sessions have resumed in Queens Park.
Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP and Minister of Labour, Trades and Skill Development Monte McNaughton says his focus will remain on jobs.
McNaughton says “there’s a lot going on in the province,” when acknowledging the focus for almost everyone is on education and union strikes, but his goal for 2020 is continuing to promote careers in skilled trades to the younger generation.
He notes parents should teach their children university is not mandatory, and there are lucrative jobs out there which don’t require extra schooling.
