The snow began late in February after being fairly non-existent throughout the month and early March is looking the same.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell told myFM when it comes to temperature, nothing is quite out of the ordinary.
For the snow aspect, Kimbell says it feels like almost payback from Mother Nature for letting us off easier in previous days and weeks.
Kimbell says the current stretch of snow is serving as a reminder that we’re still in winter, and they anticipate more of it to fall with some rain.
