The Huron County OPP says a traffic complaint has led to charges against the driver of pickup truck near Seaforth.
Police say earlier this month (Feb. 21st) they got a tip about a possible impaired driver.
Shortly after the OPP spotted the suspect vehicle heading eastbound on Highway 8 out of Seaforth.
Following a traffic stop and upon speaking to the driver the officer noted the accused had consumed some alcohol.
The driver provided two breath samples both were above the legal limit. As a result a 25-year-old f Mitchell was charged with operation while impaired for having a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled for March 23rd in Goderich. The drivers vehicle was impounded and license has been suspended for 90-days.
