There is a new fire hall in Blyth.
Firefighters have already moved into the the new building located at the north end of the village.
North Huron Councillor Kevin Falconer says plans for the new fire hall began almost a year ago that would also see the building be the new home of the Public Work Department.
Falconer says Cowbell Brewing purchased the old fire hall building and the fire department were able to continue operating there until the new building was completed.
The final cost of the fire hall has not be disclosed but the property Township purchased was privately-owned and was estimated to be anywhere between $2.5 and $3 Million.
An open house is scheduled to take place sometime in May.
