Two Stratford secondary schools will soon be combining as one.
Stratford Central and Northwestern, currently combined under the temporary name of the Stratford Secondary Schools, are looking for a new name to combine the schools.
Over 600 students, 150 staff members, and many parents took their ideas to the Stratford Transformation Committee and were presented at STC’s February 12th meeting.
The elementary branches of both high schools are also combining under the same name, and their ideas were presented at STC’s February 12th meeting as well.
The board of trustees is now asking for multi-stakeholder help choosing the school names through a survey, which will open on March 17th, with the new school names to be released on the March 24th meeting.

In order to hear from a wide variety of stakeholders, the Board of Trustees are asking for feedback to help inform their decision on the Stratford school names. https://t.co/s1djQ9gHoM pic.twitter.com/1FRQF4eexw
