Huron Perth Public Health has received laboratory confirmation of a second case of COVID-19 in Huron and Perth.
The confirmed case is a 57-year-old woman who is a close household contact of the confirmed case announced on March 14.
HPPH says the woman currently does not have any symptoms of COVID-19 and is self isolating at home.
A press conference is scheduled for 5 PM and myFM will have more details.
