Premier Doug Ford continued to urge people to stay home as part of his daily update. The Province is providing relief to those who are listening to the message. Premier Ford announced today (Tuesday) that the government and Hydro One is switching to off-peak pricing for the next 45 days. Ford says that the announcement will save Ontarians 50 percent, as the cost will be 10.1 cents per kilowatt-hour.
Ford also said that farmers are eligible for the pricing.
Lastly, the Premier announced that the province is helping truck drivers by keeping on routes and other rest stops open and stepping u the cleaning at those facilities.
