Due to a declaration from the Provincial government on Monday (March 30) the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority has announced due to COVID-19 that all conservation areas and trails are closed until further notice.
The closure affects all conservation areas: Clinton, Bannockburn, Zurich, Morrison Dam, Crediton, Lucan, Parkhill, Rock Glen, and Ausable River Cut.
Other properties closed include Mystery Falls, L-Lake, Sadler Tract, Linfield and the MacNaughton – Morrison Trail.
Barriers and signs will be present at property entrances, but even if a barrier is not in place the property is closed.
ABCA General Manager Brian Horner said in a statement that “This has been a difficult step to take but it is in the best interest of our community and Province to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
