Ontario saw 401 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
Statistics prove it’s not just older people getting the virus as over 1800 cases in Ontario are people aged 20-59.
Less than 1000 cases so far in the province have affected people 60 and older.
Locally in Huron and Perth Counties the number of cases has risen to 16 with six cases in Huron County, seven in Stratford and three in St. Marys.
In Lambton County there are 59 confirmed cases, six deaths, and one outbreak at an institution.
And in Middlesex County there were 13 new cases on Thursday to bring the total number to 79.
