An OPP cruiser at the London detachment off Exeter Road.
Police have laid several charges and are still looking for a suspect following an incident in Clinton on March 29th.
Officers were called to a car wash on Victoria Street around 9:30 AM in connection to a stolen pickup being parked inside one of the car wash bays.
When police arrived they saw two men with the vehicle, one outside washing it while the other was in the driver’s seat.
Upon seeing the police the suspect outside took off on foot, while the driver accelerated out of the bay and rammed the police cruiser which caused extensive damage.
The officer was able to exit the cruiser and get out of harm’s way while the suspect continued to ram the cruiser until he escaped.
Police identified the men and several OPP teams tracked the driver to a property on Line 34 in Huron East where they arrested the man without incident.
18 year old, Pacey Feddes from South Bruce is facing many charges including property obtained by crime, assault a peace officer with a weapon, dangerous operation, flight from a peace officer and others.
Officers are still working on locating the other suspect.
