Huron Perth Public Health confirmed a second death due to COVID-19 over the weekend.
The victim was a resident at Greenwood Court long-term care home, who was in their 80s.
To date there have been six cases in residents and 5 in the staff at Greenwood Court.
HPPH said in a statement that everyone continues to be cared for, and no one has been transferred to the hospital.
Hillside Manor which is another area long-term care home also has one confirmed case of COVID-19.
