The Town of Goderich is discouraging non-emergency travel to the community.
In a release on their website the Town is asking all cottagers and day-trippers to not travel to Goderich while the Provincial Emergency for COVID-19 is in effect.
The statement continues to say that all beaches and the waterfront are closed until further notice.
A post from the Courthouse Square Sunday Market Facebook page informs viewers that the town has closed all municipal lands, so parks, pavilions, beaches until the end of July.
The post continues to say this means the cancellation of the BIA Farmers Market in May, June and July, the cancellation of the BIA Thursday night concerts for June and July, the Sunday Market for May, June and July as well as the cancellation of the Goderich Fireworks and Canada Day picnic and parade.
