The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority wants to remind everyone that all ABCA buildings, and trails are closed.
The province announced the opening of Provincial Parks and Conservation reserves which are provincial properties not conservation areas, which are owned by conservation authorities.
The ABCA says that barriers are in place at properties but even if they are not they are still closed.
The closure affects all conservation areas: Clinton, Bannockburn, Zurich, Morrison Dam, Crediton, Lucan, Parkhill, Rock Glen, and Ausable River Cut. Other properties include Mystery Falls, L-Lake, Sadler Tract, and Linfield. The closure also includes MacNaughton – Morrison Trail.
This closure also extends to all properties of the Huron Tract Land Trust Conservancy (HTLTC) including the trails of the Bayfield River Flats.
The closure affects the Bayfield River Flats Nature Area; Mayhew Tract; Heaman Tract; and Woodburne Farm.
The ABCA has also announced that Summer nature day camps for 2020 have been cancelled, and all Conservation education programs are cancelled for the remainder of the school year.
