If you find self-isolating for a couple of months during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a struggle, consider the case of Capt. Scott Kelly. The retired NASA astronaut was a member of an almost year-long mission to the International Space Station, the single longest mission by an American astronaut.
Captain Kelly will present Tips On Living In Isolation during a Facebook Live event this afternoon (Thursday) from 3:30-4:30 on Bruce Power’s Facebook page. He will be joined by Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s president and CEO.
While aboard the space station, he was enrolled in a unique study that measured the impact of space travel on his body and compared it to his twin brother, Mark, also an astronaut who was back here on Earth.
As an added feature, Capt. Kelly will field questions from participants.
