For the first time since World War 2, London will not experience the Western Fair.
What would have been the 145th edition of the beloved fall fair, has been mitigated due to COVID-19 concerns.
City of London mayor Ed Holder confirmed the news Thursday.
The only time the Western Fair has been postponed or cancelled was during World War 2, Holder noted. He says news is to come from the committee in the following months about putting on a virtual fair complete with games prizes and food.
