Things are starting to move slowly in Goderich as businesses in the town begin to open up once again.
Most of them had been closed for the last nine weeks due to the pandemic.
We are into week two of the first stage in the province’s plan to reopen the economy.
Mayor John Grace says he expects the process will be gradual but credits residents in doing their part to not only stop the spread of COVID-19 but also help local businesses.
Grace says the Victoria Day weekend saw a good number of people in the downtown but falls well short of what the town usually sees during a long weekend.
