Huron County is in the middle of a municipal service review in partnership with consultants.
Warden Jim Ginn explains the goal of the review is to find ways to streamline operations.
Ginn said the county was one of a number of local governments who received provincial funding to run reviews like this to find efficiencies, which he infers as cuts are coming.
The review will also oversee present day service and delivery approaches, while comparing them to other similar municipalities in the province.
A first report reviewing the county’s services through staff and research has been completed already.
The consultants will present a final report to County Council in July of this year.
