Recently Perth County OPP and Paramedics responded to a call from a residence in Mitchell after the near drowning of a five-year-old child.
The supervising parent noticed the absence of the child, who was quickly pulled out of the pool and brought to a nearby hospital.
Police encourage everyone to attend First Aid and CPR training to prepare for an event where it is needed.
