The construction sector in Ontario has pushed through the COVID-19 pandemic and looks strong on the other side, says MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex and Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development Monte McNaughton.
McNaughton was recently congratulated for the province’s work from labour and business leaders representing hundreds of thousands of workers.
He said the government and labour leaders have worked in collaboration to protect employees while keeping them on the job.
McNaughton says when these groups work together lots can be achieved.
