Middlesex County Libraries are launching a virtual STREAM program this summer to encourage your children to dive into books.
It’s intended for kids aged 2 to 11, divided into two programs based on age, and it’s entirely free.
Child and Youth Librarian Shauna Dereniowski says there’ll be more than just books to go with the program.
Children can be registered for Camp STREAM on library.middlesex.ca. Once registered, campers will receive a Welcome Package which will include access to an Camp STREAM Google classroom.
The library is also planning live virtual events, including special guest performers and a weekly Camp Fire Storytime.
The county libraries are also offering similar programs, designed for teens and adults, using a cellphone app, Beanstock, launching also on the 29th.
