A Huron East resident is facing several charges following an investigation.
On Tuesday, June 9, Huron OPP commenced an investigation after receiving a call from a victim that had been threatened via social media.
In response members from Huron OPP, the Huron OPP Crime Unit, Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at an address located on 12th Street in Vanastra.
The accused was located and was taken into custody without incident for uttering threats. Further, he was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected fentanyl.
The accused is facing numerous drug and assault charges.
