The Huron Hospice Annual Butterfly Release is going virtual this year.
Typically the release attracts over 100 people but of course with COVID-19 restrictions that’s not an option this year.
Fund Development Intern Kayla Gauthier says they’re looking to post up on August 29th somewhere in Clinton so people can collect their butterflies.
Gauthier says it was very important for Huron Hospice to find a way to have the release this year, as it allows people to grieve their loved one and connect once again.
Monarchs are available to purchase for $30.00 until July 27th, via eventbrite.ca. Following your purchase, you will receive an email with a time for pickup and care instructions for the butterflies.
