myFM wants to highlight the South Huron Fire Department as local heros.
The local department was kept extremely busy over the weekend.
That was District Fire Chief with the South Huron Fire Department Jeff Musser who highlighted the work done by our local fire department.
Another challenge for the department was the lack of a water supply at the scene which caused the tankers to have to use water in town,
Tanker operators were having a hard time getting cars out of the way and the OPP had to escort tankers.
Musser tells myFM that it was very frustrating that people were not moving over, as the department was trying to do their job, but he adds he is very proud of the work of the firefighters.
