Avon Maitland District School Board is beginning its back-to-school process.
Earlier this week, AMDSB sent out letters to parents. The purpose of the letter is to clarify options for your child(ren)’s return to school.
The email contains a unique link to a pre-registration form for each child registered in Avon Maitland. You’re bring asked to fill-out the forms by August 12th (next Wednesday).
The form is to pre-register your child(ren) and to indicate your intention of having them return to school in person or participate in online learning and your intention for your child to ride the bus.
For students returning to school full-time there will be daily screening for symptoms before coming to school, mandatory masks for students in grades 4-12 and more health protocols.
Students learning from home will be offered both types of learning opportunities: synchronous (‘live’ face to face communication) and asynchronous (previously recorded one way communication).
