The County of Middlesex are gathering input to form a provincially mandated Community Safety & Well-Being plan.
Rather than have all 8 municipalities in the county put together their own report, which would likely have similar responses between each of them, the county is taking the lead and will produce a single document with appropriate appendixes for any concerns seen in only one or two regions.
Warden Cathy Burghardt-Jesson says the plan will be an overall assessment of today’s concerns and help plan a course of action on addressing them.
The warden feels this will be a good exercise for municipalities to undergo to get a better understanding on where the community are.
However she said concern lies on how worthwhile the endeavour may be, as outside organizations may already have these answers through offering previous consultations with the community.
