Artistic Director for the Huron Waves Music Festival John Miller was singing praise and thanks to the community following a $6,500 donation to the festival by the South Huron Vitality Fund.
The purpose of the Vitality Fund is to offer financial assistance to non-profit, community-based organizations that provide direct programs, services, or activities to enhance the quality of life for South Huron residents.
Miller says it’s tough the festival couldn’t kick things off in May this year but they haven’t thrown the towel in on 2020 yet. They hope they can have a small-scale concert series near the end of the year but if not, they hope in May 2021 they’ll be up and running.
