Never leave people or pets inside of a hot vehicle!
A 27 year old from Etobicoke is facing charges after doing just that.
Police allege on August 13th, around 2:30 PM, they got a call about a dog that was left in a vehicle yelping.
The dog was located in a vehicle on Government Road in Grand Bend.
All the doors and windows were closed, and the vehicle was in the sunlight.
The dog was located inside of a pet carrier with a wool blanket and appeared to be in distress.
Police got into the vehicle and rescued the dog.
The owner came to get the dog nearly an hour later at the Lambton OPP Detachment.
