The Middlesex-London Paramedic Service have converted an old London Transit bus into a mobile emergency service vehicle.
It was officially revealed last week.
Middlesex County Warden Cathy Burghardt-Jesson says it’ll provide immediate relief for county residents looking to get a COVID-19 test.
In non-pandemic times, the bus will serve as backup for various events throughout London and the county, and to aid building evacuations if necessary.
The initiative will cost paramedics $30,000, money that will come from its 2020 budget, plus $5,000 in operating costs each year.
