Huron County OPP has laid counterfeiting charges against a pair of residents following an investigation that started in August.
On August 24th, OPP commenced an investigation to determine the source of some counterfeit $100 bills that were being passed at various businesses in Exeter.
Investigators were ultimately led to two individuals that had used the counterfeit bills at three Exeter businesses.
Police also determined one of the suspects was responsibhle for making the bills, also finding stolen personal ID with one of the suspects.
27-year-old Dayna Stanley of Exeter and 30-year-old Kyle Greer of Huron East are facing numerous charges.
