#ODSPoverty is an initiative sprung up to talk about the Ontario Disability Services Program.
Sarah Culbert founded the movement, and says people living with disabilities have been neglected for years, with no increase in ODSP funding in a decade.
Culbert says the most one could receive is $1169 a month, and that’s expected to cover all costs of living. She’s asking people to share their stories using the hashtag in hopes that the more noise they make, the bigger the chance they’ll inspire change.
