United Way Perth-Huron have set their fundraising goal for the year.
Executive Director Ryan Erb says they’re hoping to bring in $1.762 million for their nearly 50 programs. That’s a 6% higher goal than what they received last year.
On top of that, Erb says the COVID-19 related program launched in the summer needs to continue.
That provides support to those who need quick cash for whichever reason, like paying rent, to help them get by. United Way works at local, provincial and federal levels to address Unignorable Issues.
