The recent theft of cannabis plants from a residence has police reminding property owners to take steps to protect their property.
Huron County OPP say three mature plants were taken overnight on October 7 after someone entered a property on Victoria Street East in Exeter.
Officers say it’s best to keep your plants in a secure location and if possible install surveillance cameras to monitor your property.
It is also recommended that pictures not be posted to social media as that might lure would-be thieves to your location.
Police say if you catch someone in the act, don’t confront them just call police and provide a detailed description.
