Huron Perth Public Health is encouraging everyone over the age of 6 months to get the flu shot.
The flu shot is currently available for priority populations, and will be widely available by the end of October.
Locally people can get the flu shot at pharmacies, a physician’s office, or HPPH clinics.
To help stop the spread of influenza in the community, HPPH advises all residents to continue to maintain physical distancing practices and:
· Wash hands with soap thoroughly and often
· Cough or sneeze into your sleeve
· Keep surfaces and items disinfected
· Stay home if you are sick
· Get the influenza vaccine
