A 24 year old from Lucan Biddulph is facing impaired driving charges after a crash with a hydro pole.
On October 18th just before 5 PM, first responders were called to a single vehicle collision on Shipka Line.
A sedan had left the roadway struck the hydro pole and was demolished, but thankfully the driver escaped uninjured.
While speaking with the driver he was displaying signs of impairment so he was arrested and taken to a local detachment for breath tests which registered over the legal limit.
The cost to repair the hydro pole is roughly $8000.
