An OPP cruiser at the London detachment off Exeter Road.
It is one thing to dress up as a police officer for Halloween but it’s another when you act like one.
Huron County OPP received a call from a woman who was stopped by someone that resembled a police constable on Lucknow Line in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh around 1:30 the morning of October 31st.
The male suspect began asking the driver questions and that was when she started feeling uncomfortable.
Investigators say the suspect is described as 5-foot-9 with a slender build, dark, short hair with some scruffy facial hair, wearing cargo pants, a cheap looking tactical vest with no duty belt, a short-sleeve dark t-shirt with “Police” written in white or grey lettering.
The suspect vehicle is described as a sport utility vehicle (SUV), dark in color, possibly grey, navy or black with a light bar on top.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
