The County of Huron have announced first-round winners of AgPrize 2020.
Kate Ayers won in the Communicating with Customers category for her website (www.renudefood.com) and proposal to develop innovative podcast content as a way to help the industry connect with local communities and all Canadians.
A group of four (Julie Marocha, Gokulan Thedchana, Yohannes Wondimu, and Minh Nguyen) won in the Recycling Maple Syrup Tubing category for their in-depth research on best practices for the maple syrup tubing recycling process.
AgPrize 2020 was developed by the County’s Economic Development Department.
Contestants are being asked to come up with proposal on innovative solutions in the Agri-food sector based on a series of challenge questions.
Those who come up with strong submissions are eligible to receive a cash prize of up to $2,020.00.
