United Way Perth-Huron has reached 31% of their $1.762 million campaign goal this year.
Campaign co-chair Martin Ritsma says they hope to keep up the momentum.
This funding has already gone towards helping over 640 people in the counties, which Ritsma says is remarkable.
Not only are the donations being put towards the Urgent Needs Fund related to pandemic help, but also to the identified unignorable issues: mental health, homelessness, social isolation, poverty, and hunger.
