The County of Huron have launched a revamped program to help homeless youth in the region.
The Huron Out of the Cold: Heart to Home program is a partnership between the County, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and Choice for Change.
It will see an emergency shelter located at the Lakeshore United Church in Goderich.
Warden Jim Ginn says there will be qualified staff to help youth who are experiencing problems like mental health and drug addiction.
The shelter will able to accommodate 15 people a night providing food and beds during the winter months.
