The National Day of Remembrance is December 6th, and Huron County OPP are supporting the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence.
OPP said in a news release that the 16 Days of Activism, which began November 25th, is an opportunity to come together to call out and speak up on gender-based violence and to renew their commitment to ending violence against women, girls, LGBTQ, and gender diverse individuals.
They are participating in an awareness video produced by the Huron DART (Domestic Assault Review Team) that highlights ways individuals can address gender-based violence.
The video can be accessed by visiting the DART website (http://www.hurondart.ca) or the Huron DART Facebook page.
