The Huron County OPP say a thief targeted a neighbourhood in Seaforth this past weekend.
According to police, the thief struck several garages and unlocked vehicles in the neighbourhood of Chestnut Road and Main Street North on Sunday morning.
The thief reportedly stole a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, and a rifle worth nearly $2000.
Police say they’re hoping to identify a person of interest from a home surveillance system.
They’re also reminding residents to stay vigilant against theft by following their slogan “Lock it or Lose it”.
Lock your vehicle, don’t leave valuables in plain sight and don’t leave the keys to your vehicle inside it.
