The Ausable Bayfield Conservation is introducting two new outdoor conservation education programs.
The programs, for students in kindergarten to Grade 3, will begin in January.
‘Coyotes and Pups’ and ‘Muskrats’ are six-week programs taking place in the Morrison Dam Conservation Area near Exeter.
The winter sessions for both run from January 28th until March 11th, with the spring sessions running from March 25th until April 29th.
The registration deadline for both program’s winter sessions’s is January 14th.
Coyotes and Pups: Parents and caregivers may sign up for one of two time slots: 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. or 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost per child is $70 per six-week each session. Space is limited to 10 children plus 10 caregivers (only one caregiver per child is permitted).
Muskrats: Muskrats runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays for children ages 4 to 8 and the cost is $130 per child/six-week session.
