Community Futures Huron is receiving $1.12 million from the federal government as part of their second round of support of the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund.
CFH received just under $1 million in May this year during the first round of funding.
That didn’t last long, says CFH General Manager Paul Nichol.
Nichol says since this latest funding was announced they’ve cleared the eight business long waiting list, and they anticipate helping 30 overall, on top of the 57 already assisted during the first cash infusion, preserving 188 local jobs.
