The Avon Maitland District School Board is asking for everyone in the community to support online learning for students.
Under the Province’s shutdown, students in grades K-8 will be learning from home until January 11th, while students in grades 9-12 will be online learning until January 25.
The online learning will see students live learning online with educators for 225 minutes per day, while doing independent learning for another 75 minutes per day.
AMDSB is asking local employers to respect the educational time needed for students and do not use the time to bring in students for extra shifts as attendance will be taken each day.
